PLEASE READ THE CAPTION I recently saw this reel of a hairdressing lady which I unfortunately can’t find anymore, but it was about what she learnt in her years working as a hairdresser. It felt so true to me because its also what I encounter almost every day working as a makeup artist. You might think that because I work a lot with models, designers or other kind of successful people that I only work with the most beautiful clients. And yes, to me they are. But as soon as they sit in my chair, I guarantee you, they almost immediately start to point out their flaws. „Can you make my nose smaller?“, „Can you make my face slimmer?“ „Can you hide my receding hairline?“. Nine out of ten times I don’t even see their so called „flaws“ or dont see them as one. this made me realize that we all, no matter our age, gender or social status are our biggest critics. Its time to try and see ourselves like other people see us and stop focusing on the things we don’t like. So here is a picture of me, full of things that I’m insecure about. I know its diffucult in times of social media and filters but I hope we all can start to be a bit more accepting and gentle with ourselfes ❤️ Also; if you find the reel please send it to me ❤️
