Did you know that in Germany, you can follow a real-life fairytale trail? 🤯 The German Fairy Tale Route stretches for 600 magical kilometers and connects over 60 locations steeped in the history of the Brothers Grimm. This incredible journey took me to the very places where the Grimms were born, lived, and worked, and to the real-world settings that inspired their most beloved stories. 🗺️✨ My adventure started in Hanau, the birthplace of the Brothers Grimm. 🏰 From there, I went to their childhood home in Steinau before making my way to Kassel, where the brothers lived for 30 years and compiled their famous collection. 📖 The final leg of my trip felt like stepping right into a storybook: I saw Rapunzel’s tower at the castle in Trendelburg 👸 and explored Sababurg’s animal park, a place so magical it’s known as Sleeping Beauty’s castle. 😴 I then visited the university town of Marburg and loved walking the Grimm-Dich-Pfad, an enchanting trail filled with figures from the fairytales. 🚶‍♀️👑 Tell me, which Brothers Grimm fairytale would you want to live in for a day?
