It’s been a month since Border Lines dropped and there are various reasons why I didn’t say anything on release. Mostly because it felt super anti climatic due over expecting which I needed space to come to terms with (which sometimes we all go through them ones). Recently , I have just been zooming out to get perspective of growth over time that we sometimes miss or don’t reflect on. Rewind to Summer 2018 Me, @jessi_poppy and @dan.rogerson started building the family bonds to create, relate and just support each other in a safe space. Years later, we would grow even closer, work on a record we poured everything into and really created so many special recorded and living moments. I could carry on painting the story but I don’t want to take much more of your time if you’ve gotten this far. Ultimately the love I have for Jessi and Dan is just immensely overflowing everyday and I’m just excited about the new stories, new sonic possibilities and just the consistent ongoing journey because there is no threshold. This project extends further than the 3 of us and will continue to grow in the future with the help of collaborators that just bring our visions to life with reverence and sensitivity, We value your contribution.
