The 42nd anniversary of anything is rarely observed. I thank you all for the birthday wishes and will take this opportunity to share a few moments from the past year. In January, I sold my old house that I owned for 15 years. This was significant because I looked at that house as an early investment that created some financial stability in a volatile career path. In March, I felt like a patriot when I got vaccinated. Maybe it was the National Guard administering the shots at the Convention Center. In June, James Bringetto ( @divercub ), my Best Man, and I made a trip to Yosemite. We hiked to the top of Half Dome and back in an incredible, 20 mile, 16 hour day. Finally, in August, my bandmates and I were able to return to our jobs that we love, touring with John Legend ( @johnlegend ). I’m incredibly grateful for a successful year. I feel more educated, confident, curious. I couldn’t be more happily married to my wife, Melissa Correa ( @meesa215 ). 42 may not be the answer to Life, The Universe and Everything but it ain’t bad either.
