My body was made for basketball but my mind was truly made for jiu-jitsu/Bjj. I relish being in deep waters with a collar choke cinched in trying to figure a way out or there being 10 secs left in the round and @bsarcevich has a kimura locked up from side control and trying to hold out until the buzzer. You have to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Willing to be a sponge and learn as much as you can and check your ego at the door. Iron sharpens iron my friends and that’s what happened last night.
