We all expect to be treated with love and mercy, but what happens when it’s our time to give it ? Do we reflect, take a step back and act with humility, or do we let our emotions get in the way and lash out? This is something that I’ve been tested with many times and have failed at. But on my walk with Jesus , he’s shown me that transformation is possible. It’s not always easy, and it does take effort on our part- he gives us the spark to light the flame of love- but it’s our job to give it oxygen and keep it burning. So who will you be? Will you let the flame burnout, will you smother it with anger and frustration? Or will you feed the fire, breathe life over it, and burn with love and compassion for others? You always have free will in this life, how will you choose to handle what’s thrown at you?
