EVENTS 1/12 Day of Prayer, 2pm Reflect on MLK's spiritual legacy at @latinoculturalcenter, hosted by @dallascityhall & Faith Forward Dallas. 1/13 Candle Lighting Ceremony, 6pm Join @alphasigmalambda for a candle lighting celebrating the life of MLK! 1/13 MLK Symposium, 6pm Join @thedihc at St. Paul United Methodist Church for speaker Dr. Lerone Martin. 1/14 The Colony MLK Celebration, 2pm Informational pop-up with live music, vendors & more at @grandscapetx. 1/14 "I Have a Dream" Kids Celebration, 12pm At the Prairie Creek Branch of @dallaspubliclibrary, kids can earn a reading certificate & see an interactive wall of MLK's famous speech. 1/16 MLK Day Parade, 10am Colorful floats from community church groups, youth groups, nonprofits, band/drill teams, & more. 1/16 Jazz Tribute, 5pm Head to @legacyfoodhall for a free show from Terence Bradford, dedicated to MLK. 1/16 Setting the Table for Change, 6:30pm Virtual dinner by @dallasdinnertable, groups are led in conversations about race to educate, encourage, & empower. 1/16 MLK Parade Watch Party, 9am Parade, music, face painting & more at @forestforward VOLUNTEERING 1/14 MLK Fest 2023, 9am Join the MLK Clean Team Initiative in South Dallas for a trash cleanup!
