During Operation Kickoff this weekend, @TheMissionContinues honored the legacy of the Compton VFW Post 5394 by bringing in a muralist. The VFW was founded by predominantly Black veterans who returned home after serving during the Vietnam War and established the post as a safe haven for the community.
