Grow, Learn and Enjoy - like Sophia Darling! Sophia started her career at Fairmont Royal York in 2017 when she joined the INSPIRE Leadership Program. A program designed for graduates and individuals starting a career in the hospitality industry. Sophia was passionate about Food and Beverage and went into the program to be a leader in various dining venues, including Toronto’s renowned cocktail den @librarybartoronto. By Spring 2018, Sophia was graduating from the program, and through the connections she made, she found an interest in the Sales Team. With the support from her leaders to pursue a new opportunity, she took a leap and earned the role of a Sales Coordinator. Sophia found her new passion and was quickly promoted to Catering Sales Manager and then Executive Meeting Manager. Sophia is now an Event Sales Manager with profound knowledge of many roles and departments and is an asset to the Fairmont Royal York team. She was also appointed this year as a Kostuch Media Ltd.
