Build them up... because others will tear them down. In the same breath. Teach them NOT to tear others down. I am not trying to tell you how to parent but this mother came to me distraught. Not knowing how to help her child who was just heartbroken. I helped her the way I needed help when this was happening to me at this age. It is free to teach kindness, respect and empathy. No child needs to be bullied ever. No person deserves that regardless their age. Let’s be better people.
