A extremely complex recipe ;) when I Picked up this beautiful Benevento Tomato from the amazing @alejandroweiser @weiserfamilyfarms I was optimistic of its greatness all I could think of , if I do anything but drop it and don’t Fu@k it’s already perfection , It could make a memory ;) .... now I dig mozzarella , Burrata and all the cool things , but this thing needed a spotlight not a costar .. so all it took is two slices of toasted wheat toast that you cut out the shape w a crappy plastic pool cup , than hit both toast slices (while toast is hot!) w a light smear of softened butter followed a heavier but not too heavy smear of cool best foods or if on east coast hellmans mayonnaise a pinch of flake salt then a few turns of black pepper , drop your tomato like a hit single then season it w a swirl of extra virgin olive oil , put the top slice on and w your crazy sharp bread knife saw that bad boy in half with the hope that not a drop of the delicious summer soundtrack of juice holds on until it jumps in your mouth .. plate , then a back spoon of mayo a puddle of the ex v o o so u can drag this alchemy of sweet salty peppery textural madness as u so desire .... Ok the recipe part of this is just in good fun but the excuse to give thanks to a special farmer and Mother Nature for this gift ... and the regift to Mia for lunch ;) Ps no Basil required ... 🙏🏼❤️🍅
