Falcon 2011 ___________________ I always make sure to look at old work in order to stay in touch with the reason I fell in love with photography and the reason I started getting work in the first place. It was was because I was creating whatever I wanted, learning and discovering. I took this portrait of my dear friend Falcon in 2011. Completely DIY, which is still my favorite way to shoot. This was shot on slide film, on a Fuji film stock that I don’t think they make anymore. Anyway, I’m grateful and excited to have some good work coming up this month. Especially in an industry that was hard enough before the pandemic. And, I’ve also been shooting more for me lately and getting back in touch with my own voice. I guess all I’m saying is this: If you’re starting out, keep creating. Create what you love. Create for yourself. Stay aligned with yourself and you’ll find your place in this world. :) PS.
