I also had the privilege of speaking to the audience about my work in arts education advocacy and why ensuring access to the arts for every child is so deeply important. Sharing my love for arts education advocacy with this incredible young woman makes this journey even more meaningful — and my heart was so full seeing a community come together to support the next generation of artists.
