30 years ago, Wolfgang Gullich, one of the most influential climbers in sport and adventure climbing died in a car accident. He left us an impressive legacy, being the first climber to establish a 9a route in the world, "Action Directe" in Frankenjura. Apart from this milestone, Wolfgang opened and climbed other mythical lines such as Eternal Flame, Kanal im Rücken (8b, 1984) Punks in the Gym (8b+, 1985) Wallstreet (8c, 1987).
