6 months of (chaotic) pure magic ✨ Half a year already, and it made me think I never got to share her birth story so maybe 6 months later It’s finally time 😂 First of all, really important information, I ate a full pineapple the night before, my bestie brought it for me saying it was good to start labour (well apparently it works 😂) So on the 8th of April, really early in the morning, like 4:30 am, Ambre woke me up as, for the first time ever, she peed in her bed, never happened before so I though “this is odd” (maybe a sign I had to wake up) Get up and changed her sheets, I go back to bed at 5am only to get woken up 30min later by what I knew was the start of labour, I stay in bed, try to sleep a bit more but keeps being woken up by contractions so I end up grabbing my phone and started monitoring them. By 6:30, oh my god, they are already getting so close to one another and pretty intense. I wake Lucas up, “hey, I’m in labour and I think it’s going real quick”. So we got up, I sit in my bouncing ball going through each contractions watching Lucas eating his fancy breakfast (salmon on toasts, we still laugh when we talk about it 😂 swipe to see the photo) the girls wake up and I tell them the baby is coming soon, they see me in pain and give me the cutest cuddles. Ambre understands because she remembers when Lison was born, she remembers everything, it’s actually impressive. My friends/neighbours arrive, they were the one on call to watch the girls when I was going into labour and my contractions are now 5 minutes apart, it’s only 7 am, I run in the shower, let the hot water run along my back, it’s the only thing that makes each contraction a bit better, shave my legs, I probably stay a good 15/20 minutes in there until I realised my contractions are getting really really close and everything is going soooo quick. I jump out of the shower, put some clothes on and return on my bouncing ball. Everybody is here around me, I go through another intense contraction and think “wow I nearly feel like I need to push” (Rest of the story in comments)
