for me being an indian means so many special things but most importantly it has meant getting to be like my dad. getting to wear the green and white just like him. he was my example of leadership, hard work, and selflessness. he taught me to choose faith and have the courage to believe in myself. being an indian was modeled for me long before i ever put on the jersey and even though i know there is a bright future ahead i am going to miss being in a place surrounded by memories of my dad. thank you @waxahachievb for being my light in the darkness and allowing me to be apart of the tradition. the pride i feel to have been apart of this program is indescribable. i love being a lady indian
