Looking back is always an opportunity for perspective... Had I known a proposal was at the finish line, I may have run 🏃‍♀️ faster!!️ But knowing is not where the magic is revealed 💫 I would have done so many things so differently “had I known”... but I knew what I did and I did my best. I’ve been reflecting a lot lately and realized that reflection is the springboard for change and transformation. I used to get so down on myself because I didn’t know, or someone else didn’t know either... and that anger and resentment got stored in my body- as pain, tension and injury. If I could tell this version of myself (a decade ago now) anything, it would be... let go more, look at your values and always live by them, give yourself and others GRACE when you/they don’t. Be human. We’re all doing our best, with a different past, a life in our rear view mirror that we can’t undo- be it the way we were raised or the way our parents raised us. We can only reflect, choose to change (if needed) or choose to move forward with a power within ourselves that claims... “This is me.
