👇 i have made so many “fitness” themed posts that are sitting in my drafts bc i’m too scared to post. a mix of imposter syndrome and discomfort are mostly to blame, but i’m forcing myself to put this one live. i’ve worked really hard over this past year to truly put in an effort. i wasn’t happy with what i saw in the mirror. for a long time. i felt tired & bloated all the time, my skin was at its worst, and mental health at a low. i decided i needed to try something. working out gives me a sense of relief. an hour or less to give myself some ME time. feeling my body get stronger as i challenge myself with new exercises and weights has been super empowering. i did it for me and my own confidence, and i’m so happy i pushed myself to do so. i am the least athletic person in the world. i failed at every sport i’ve tried + anything gym related makes me anxious. my form isn’t perfect + i’m no expert AT ALL. but i’m proud of where i’m at in this moment. i’ve got some ways to go, but i can truly say i feel more powerful and strong than ever. mentally and physically 🌈✨❤️🧚🤠 #gymmotivation #fitnessjourney #fitnessmotivation #gyminspo #workoutmotivation
