Here is a low impact slow and mindful core and glute routine that I am sharing with you in real time. . When we slowdown and connect each movement with each breath, and mentally connect mind with muscle, low impact short exercise routines like this are transformed into strong, holistic and powerful practices! . I took 5-8 reps depending on how my body was feeling and I encourage you to do the same instead of thinking of completing so many reps think about how your body is feeling and whether she would like to do more or if she would benefit from rest. . This is my first Time on the mat in two weeks since my surgery And it felt utterly amazing!! . ⚡️Table top belly breathing ⚡️Bridge lifts ⚡️Half modified deadbugs ⚡️Bird-dog hold ⚡️Elevated Clamshell . I hope this real life workout shows 1) how slow I move in real life and 2) how and why modifying your yoga / exercises to meet your body where she is is important and empowering 🫶🏼 . My physio advised and approved all of these bodyweight practices for me to start very slowly and gently at this 2 week post surgery date. . In total this whole routine took me 15 minutes and it was 15 minutes of mindful peaceful powerful bliss. . .Why not give this a try if you are craving something slow and strong or save for later ❤️ Ps.
