🕯 Every year, on the fourth Saturday of November, we observe Holodomor Victims Remembrance Day. On that Saturday evening, Ukrainians light candles on their windowsills to commemorate those who died during the famine — artificially organized by the Soviet authorities between 1932-1933. The Holodomor is the genocide of the Ukrainian nation, committed by the leadership of the Soviet Union in order to eliminate Ukrainian resistance to the Soviet regime and destroy all attempts to build an independent Ukrainian State.
⬛️ In this post, we have compiled the key facts about the events of the famine on Ukrainian land.
