It wasn’t until recently when it dawned upon me how greatly inspired I was by Anthony Bourdain growing up. Through his travels, his voiceovers, his writing, his authenticity, he laid down the golden fibers — little by little — that would later become the rope that I’d one day climb. I was a little girl watching him on the Travel Channel, then I became a teenager getting so excited to visit the same places he visited and sitting on the same exact spot he sat at, and then I became a woman, sharing my travels with everyone through a silly little blog and a silly little Instagram page. I don’t want to be another influencer that’s here to show you the pretty places to stay at, top 10 best restaurants in San Francisco/whatever city I’m in, or show off my life in a way where it almost comes off as pretentious. I want to change the way you view travel. I want to make you feel the same feelings that I feel when I’m seeing these places and taking these places to heart. I want you to experience these places wholeheartedly with me, and inspire you to visit these same places in the future. I hope that I can do that in the way I write about the places I love, in the way that I film and edit my videos, and more. I want you to feel what I feel through the art that I create for the world to see. It’s an honor to work with these properties and tourism boards and brands that I love so dearly, but it’s even more of an honor to refine the very definition of travel to every single person that comes across my brand.
