Whenever people are in ICE custody, lives are in jeopardy. #ThrowbackThursday As of December 2021, the Biden admin has stopped detaining families at Berks, Karnes, and Dilley. However, the Biden admin has not made an official policy announcement ending family detention and has increasingly subjected families to harmful “alternatives to detention” programming that constitute “digital prisons”: whenever people are in ICE custody, lives are in jeopardy. All forms of immigration detention should be abolished.
