a few weeks ago, @the_red_ef and i moved to maine (again!) 🌲 before we left philly, my beautiful longtime friend @lyla.duey took this picture of me in my studio in our fishtown apartment. i spent so much time at all hours of the day and night in this bright little room overlooking frankford avenue, listening to the low whoosh of snowplows in winter, the loud-laughing bros in the beer garden across the street, ambulance sirens crying and septa buses coughing and drunk couples fighting and the constant buzz of construction and sometimes this guy on a bike blasting hall & oates’ “rich girl” on a boombox. i painted early in the morning in my bathrobe, late at night listening to WRTI with all the lights on, sometimes still sweaty in my running clothes, and with hoagie usually asleep in the windowsill. ❤️🥰 @lyladueyphotography
