2022. There have been times in the last couple of years when I looked at photos of me playing live and really had no idea who that person was, or how that thing was done. Total disconnect. This year, I was lucky enough to get back to my job, my calling. At first it was terrifying. I still felt like it was a mystery. And then, slowly, it came back to me, and I’ve never been more grateful for anything in my life. The only place I ever felt comfortable was on that raised bit of floor.
