It's time we answered their cry. When you stand on African soil, you feel rooted to the Earth. When you breathe the wild sage-scented air, you absorb a sense of wellbeing. When the sun warms your face, you find comfort and joy. We come to Africa to heal, to replenish, to be inspired. But if we do not replenish in return, her well will surely run dry. On #WorldNatureConservationDay we get to pause and acknowledge the deep stirring within us - a sense of responsibility to protect threatened wildlife, to promote conservation, and to preserve the precious natural biodiversity for generations to come. At Royal Malewane, our contribution takes the shape of critical conservation initiatives, including our Anti-Poaching Dog Unit, our support of wildlife research projects in the reserve, and our position as a founding member of the Greater Kruger Environmental Protection Foundation (GKEPF). Through a conscious travel model, we also get to link our guests with conservation and continue to have a positive impact.
