looking back at these photos, it doesn’t seem real that the person in them is me. i find the extreme cold pretty hard to deal with, like most people, so when @spencerfrostfilms and @gfunk_ said they were planning a trip to far east russia where it would be around -10° air and 2° water, i was overwhelmed with excitement but also shitting myself at the same time. weird feelings. i was lucky enough to spend 2 months exploring one of the most remote and untouched coastlines on the planet with 3 of my best mates @spencerfrostfilms, @gfunk_ and @fraserdovell working on our new project @the.corners.of.the.earth. powered by the mastermind @luke_kneller producing from home. it feels special to be apart of something like this. i’m forever grateful for the experiences, the people we met and the shit we had to overcome to get this trip done. bloody good times. spending two months in a place, you build real meaningful friendships with the people you’re with. thank you @snowave_kamchatka @snowvalleykamchatka @helipro.ru for looking after us and showing us this beautiful place that you’re so passionate about. and thank you @projectblanksurf for supporting four blokes from avalon and believing in this project. stay tuned, shits gonna be crazy!
