Welcome to #FAQFriday! (Got a Q for our founder, Tiffany Masterson? Drop it in the comments and she’ll try to respond!)
Q: What’s the difference between Sili and Sili Whipped? What about T.L.C. Glycolic Body Lotion? How do I use all three in my routine?
A: Let’s look at the original Sili Body Lotion and the new Sili Whipped first, because T.L.C. Body Lotion is a different type of product, with different benefits, than either Sili.
When it comes to our Silis, they each contain a different blend of plant oils, antioxidants, and skin-calming ingredients. The biggest difference between the two is the degree of moisture provided: Sili Whipped is a *much* richer, more deeply moisturizing formula than the original Sili Body Lotion. Also, Sili Whipped has a different raw-material scent, vanilla, which is due to the Vanilla planifolia fruit extract that it contains.
So choose between the two based on how much moisture you need—if a lighter body lotion is what you’re after, the original Sili Body Lotion is the way to go. Sili Whipped is for those who are looking for a thick, rich treatment for the body. Alternately, you can use the OG Sili as your primary body lotion and Sili Whipped for select spots (like your elbows, feet, etc.).
T.L.C. Glycolic Body Lotion is a medium-weight cream, steeped in the same 10% AHA blend used in our T.L.C. Framboos to smooth uneven texture, fade hyperpigmentation, and improve fine lines. You can alternate with either Sili if you like!
They can be mixed, too: Together, the Silis create a lighter blend of moisture than Sili Whipped alone. And ether Sili can be mixed with T.L.C. Glycolic Body Lotion for a gentler, milder AHA exfoliation.
Last, any of our body-care products may be used on the face. It’s just a question of whether you’ll like these formulas for the face when it comes to the degree of moisture they provide. I can’t answer that one for you—it’s about experimentation. tm❤️
