Thank you David Van Maren and @maureenmfrancisco the entire @pageantsnw production team on another successful Global Beauty Awards. @thegbasofficial award celebrates pageantry and the change makers in pageantry. I am honored to be a finalist in the category for Pageant Volunteer. I was recognized for my volunteer work in India. My mission is to help children go to school and stay in school. I believe Investing in children’s education is one of the most effective ways to reduce poverty. The pageants bring together women who spend much of their time helping others and being advocates for various social causes. I believe we need to look at the whole spectrum and see pageants as a stepping stone to helping achieve one’s goal in life. @thegbasofficial is also a reminder to show the importance of diversity - Women representing so many different countries and cultures were part of the show. Pageantry brings the world together - no matter the color, race or ethnicity.
