and that’s a wrap on recital ‘24 What a ride these past 12 years have been. I am beyond grateful for the priceless memories and lessons over the years, and the unbreakable bonds. Part of me is sad to say goodbye, but the biggest parts are so full of joy and gratitude. I am truly blessed to have found my passion for dance so young, and to have been able to pour so much into it. Dance has been a EVERYTHING to me, from a secret language, a warm hug, and a best friend, to a suit of armor and a voice. I truly cannot imagine my life without it, and I am certain that my dance journey does not end here. Thanks to Mom and Dad for the endless support and patience over the years. Thanks to all my teachers for pushing me—especially Lizzy for always believing in me and seeing me, and for bringing me here. And of course, thank you Mrs. Ann, for everything, but especially for giving me a second home, both physically and through dance. Goodbye, AWSD. 🩷
