when the touristy tote bag souvenir you brought home is really far more than just a “touristy tote bag souvenir.” ❣️ It may now be filled with markers, coloring books, and endless activities to keep the kids entertained whenever we go out to dinner ... but once upon a time it toted paperback books purchased from a centuries old bookstore and held our treasures as we strolled through Park Monceau. Carrying it around not only is convenient (lol) but always fills me with lovely nostalgia too! Our France trip still seems like it was a fairy tale. But you know what?? Sometimes those evenings at loud local restaurants with family around a table or the afternoons spent strolling your own neighborhood park (ours w/ its very French-like columns I’m now realizing!!) can feel like just as much of a fairy tale too.
