“I’m so excited that leadership has a new home.” Just like the USA’s first National Youth Poet Laureate and Vital Voices Board Member @amandascgorman, we cannot wait for women leaders from around the globe to gather at the Vital Voices Global Headquarters for Women's Leadership for years to come. Within the halls of this new monument to women’s leadership a room where knowledge is to be stored and shared is named after Amanda and fellow trailblazing leader Malala Yousafzai: The Malala Yousafzai and Amanda Gorman Leadership Library. The books on the shelves in the library are filled with reminders of the impact women leaders have made in the world, and many were written by and about Vital Voices fellows and leaders connected to the nonprofit.
