My beautiful Mum peacefully passed away last week, following a two-month battle with cancer. Mum was surrounded by our family and friends- we held her hand, gave endless hugs, sang to her, told stories, laughed and cried. My Mum was the loving pillar in my family, connecting everyone together through her care. She was magnetic with a golden aura. A beautiful, cheeky smile. Fearless and strong. A warm energy. You were safe and you were protected by her as she took you under her wing. She not only raised me and my siblings but she also fostered children and homed so many people that needed her. We grew up in a small home but somehow my Mum would manage to have two extra families living with us at a time (and whoever else she can fit in!) whoever needed her, she was there. She will give up her room and bed and make sure you are safe and comfortable. This was my childhood, my siblings and I loved it. Our tiny house full of love and joy because my Mum refused to let anyone down. With the little we had, she gave absolutely everything you needed. I’m so proud. I’m proud that she is My Mother and I am a part of her. I’m so proud at the amount of people flocking to tell my family how my Mum has helped them in some way. She is so loved. Although my Mum was taken at a young age, her life mission to love and to care was greatly accomplished. I will forever feel loved, guided and protected by this incredible angel. I am so proud to call you Mum. ❤️ I love you
