Months ago when I was designing this hoodie I had one goal in mind. For it to be worn as a reminder. A reminder to drive safe, to tell your friends and family you love them. No matter the day, no matter the circumstances. Throughout the past year and a half my hometown has suffered from three losses due to motorized accidents. These were people I knew, hung out with, went to school with, experienced life with. I knew I had to spread this message. In 2021 there were over 42,000 traffic fatalities in the US alone. 10,000 of which were caused by drinking and driving. 10,000 accidents that could have easily been prevented. Driving safely doesn’t just apply to you as a driver, but also to you as a passenger. Make smart decisions, regardless if you’re the one driving or not. This is more than just a hoodie.
