We are grateful to all who participated in and supported Hispanic Heritage Month and are proud to have accomplished much as we celebrated the renaming of West 89th Street, which became Ballet Hispánico Way, and staged our annual A La Calle Block Party. As the centerpiece of Hispanic Heritage Month, this event brought the community together for live music, live performances, great food, and free dance classes. The month’s activities also included Diálogos at Stonewall, a discussion featuring an esteemed panel who commented on the topic of Reimagining Heteronormativity in dance.
