📍NYC ➰ It’s been over a decade since I’ve bought a magazine. Thrilled that the first magazine back is not only Asian owned but celebrates the Asian-American experience. It feels so good to have representation. 〰️ When I’m shopping for makeup I stay in my lane of colorful lipstick and fully give up on eye makeup - my monolids are only good for cat eyes, according to the ads and editorials I see. But then I see people like @jezzchung who get creative and full on rock their eye makeup and it makes me want to keep fighting for more inclusivity. ➿ Mark my words: someday I’ll make the monolid so sexy everyone will want to get monolid preservation surgery instead of double eyelid surgery 🤣
