We are going 🚀🌖 This morning round 7:30 a.m. EDT, The Space Launch System rocket (SLS) and Orion spacecraft arrived on the launch pad at @nasakennedy in preparation for the #Artemis I mission – after nearly a 10-hour journey from the Vehicle Assembly Building. Did you know Orion was built right here at NASA's Johnson Space Center? Orion is NASA’s new exploration spacecraft that is designed to carry humans deeper into space than ever before! This mission will serve as a test flight as we prepare to take future astronauts to the lunar surface. This mission will help ensure our capabilities to orbit the Moon and return to Earth safely, which is scheduled for the end of this month.
