A few of my favorite shots from Ptown Pride 🔝 One of the biggest concerns locals are expressing right now is introducing next-gen Ptownies to town because they all fell in love with this place in their early 20s. We need to continue to work on accessibility in general, but it was so heartening to see so many lil queerlings coming to Pride- non-binary folk, trans representation, YOUNG kids with their parents, powerful lady presence from MemDay the past weekend and @wocweekend . This is an amazing opportunity to welcome all these communities to washashore here at some point and improve our community’s diversity. Be careful if your reaction to the younger demographic is negative because your tip count is low - if Provincetown doesn’t form a relationship with these folks now, then they won’t be coming in their 30s when they may have more experience ordering at a bar or restaurant. This supports the idea that Prown should only be for the established and wealthy. You are supporting the Ptown Community and the broader LGBTQ+ by providing your open arms. Thank you to this fcking amazing community of friends who supported Pride and the @ptownbusinessguild . But especially thanks to my baby @timlehmberg (who makes me proud to be a queer as fuck together) all the mentorship from @shengst and @jonathanshawkins for literally being the busiest human I know and still taking time to give me a 👍🏼
