@followingkendra : Waiting patiently for this baby has been an emotional roller coaster. After experiencing such a devastating loss, I didn’t know how to feel about being pregnant again. I mean, I was happy, overwhelmed, and overjoyed, but at the same time I felt an overwhelming sense of guilt, grief, and pure sadness. I prayed a lot during this pregnancy. Asking God to give me strength. To give me the type of Faith that trusted Him without questioning. And the type of peace that surpasses all understanding. To know without a doubt that He had a plan. One of my favorite scriptures became Isaiah 40:31 “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” There is no amount of words that can express the goodness of God. How HE SHOWED UP, how He has showed up time and time again and carried me. 🥹 For His Glory🤍🕊️ #blackmomsblog
