#DOCU 🇨🇵 Dans la province du Hormozgan au sud de l'Iran, cohabite une population connue au nom de Bandari, littéralement "peuple du port", ils habitent principalement autour du golfe persique, autrefois un arrêt important de la route de la soie. Ce grand centre de commerce a vu affluer des populations de cultures diverses (Arabo-Africains et Indo-Persans), qui font aujourd'hui la particularité de cette région totalement différente du reste de l'Iran. Les femmes Bandari portent un curieux masque traditionnel appelé aussi (Bandari Burqa). Cette tradition est très frappante dans le paysage urbain, dont l'origine demeure imprécise, cependant différentes versions existent au-delà de la religion, des jeunes femmes autrefois abusées par les colons portugais le portait pour se dissimuler, aujourd'hui il est porté comme tradition mais également pour se protéger du rude soleil dans cette région désertique. // 🇬🇧 In the province of Hormozgan in the south of Iran, cohabits a population known as Bandari, literally "people of the port", they live mainly around the Persian Gulf, once an important stop on the silk road. This great center of trade has seen an influx of people from various cultures (Arab-Africans and Indo-Persians), which today make this region totally different from the rest of Iran. Bandari women wear a curious traditional mask also called (Bandari Burqa).
