A healthy growout is a sign that you’ve done a great install AND that your client has practiced excellent at home care. Here’s my checklist for what I look out for: • I can see all my initial sectioning and partings clearly • there’s no matting or tangling • the weft still moves freely and there are no tension points/hot spots • the stitching is on point and sitting on top of the weft • my beads are still under the weft and stitching • when I move the beads up, there is a healthy amount of shed - excessive shed can be problematic Troubleshoot: • if there is matting/tangling I check in that my client has been brushing consistently, drying their hair after washing and braiding at night • if there are problems with the stitching it could be to do with original tension used (not enough) or maybe the anchors weren’t secure enough • if the beads are popping through, the stitches may need to be closer to the bead, the pockets sectioned off were too wide, or the stitching tension wasn’t correct • if there is tension, it could be to do with placement, beads being too tight initially, or not enough hair within the section (not dropped down for density) - these factors can also lead to excess shed, and in this case it’s advisable to take the weft out completely and re-do your sectioning and install @bellamihairpro @katpee_12 @thehairajuku #bellamihairpro #designerhairenhancements #educatorcontentaugust2022 #bellamihairextensions #bellamivolumewefts #volumewefts #beadedrowextensions #beadedrows #sewin #sewinweave #hairextensioneducation #hairextensioneducator #hairextensionclasses #hairextensioncourse #bellamimasterclass #weftmaintenance #ukhairextensions #londonhairextensions #northlondonhairextensions #hertfordshirehairextensions
