My steak tutorial! *important note: take the steak out of the fridge and let sit for at least 20-30 minutes before cooking to let it come to room temperature. This helps the steak cook more evenly, helps the searing process, and makes the steak less tough. Ingredients: - Ribeye (can use any cut, i also like filet and New York Strip) - Organic grass fed butter - Salt and fresh ground pepper - Olive oil - fresh rosemary and thyme - garlic Instructions - Remove steak from fridge and let sit for 30 minutes - Heavily salt and pepper on all sides - Heat your skillet on medium high heat, wait 2 minutes, and then add in your olive oil - sear for 4 minutes on each side - cut heat - drain out some excess oil and then add in your butter (i ended up using 2 tablespoons) - add in your rosemary and thyme - add in your garli, bring heat to low again - baste steak for 2 minutes in butter and herbs - take internal temp (130-135 for med rare, 140-145 for medium) - remember that it will continue to cook a little bit, so for medium i take it off at 135 - remove from pan, pour the butter and herbs on top of steak - let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing - enjoy! #recipe #cooking #steaktiktok #steakrecipe #cookinghacks #cookingtips #cookwithme #dinnerideas #CapCut
