This race truly humbled me. After my first half marathon went better than expected, despite barely training, I got overconfident. I set my sights on a sub-1:50 finish for RBC, but that goal turned out to be way off. I ended up finishing a minute slower than my first race (2:03:20, and even got emotional and cried around mile 11-12. I could blame the injured ankle, but the truth is... I just wasn't prepared.
