Libra season is known in the community as thee season of saxophone. It starts with Trane’s birthday on the 23rd, then comes Gary Bartz, Fela Kuti, Lee Konitz, Yusuf Lateef, Frank Foster, Eddie Harris, Sam Rivers, Kenny Garrett, Don Byas and our most recently ascended master Pharoah Sanders.
