Grateful for the opportunity. 🙏 I was recently invited to participate in the Healthcare Leaders in Social Media Roundtable from the @whitehouse Office of Public Engagement. Alongside other online health communicators, I will be raising awareness about various healthcare policy and practice updates as part of this roundtable. I not only look forward to conveying policy updates related to gastrointestinal conditions like colorectal or pancreatic cancer, but also helping shed light on how regulatory bodies like the FDA are helping vet new technologies while fostering innovation. Many of these topics are very complex or very confusing, depending on how you see it. I hope that communicating these updates will help you gain more clarity on how healthcare functions and how we advance science/technology to improve healthcare in America (and I know I’ll be learning a ton in the process!)
