HOW TO: START YOUR HAND TIED WEFT 🧵 Your anchor is going to be different for HTW, because unlike the volume weft, these cannot be pierced with your needle. Instead of piercing the weft, we are going to do 3-4 lock stitches, starting in your third pocket and working your way forward to the first. For my final stitch I like to add in a closed blanket stitch to really secure everything into place, I find this especially useful when I’ve folded my HTW to maximize the hold.
