I’m honored to be featured in the @nymag this morning and am so excited to share a little bit more about the life I’ve built in Connecticut, the roots I’ve returned to, and Dairy Boy. Although, we all know that if this article was written about a man’s success, his exes wouldn’t have been mentioned. As women, it’s unfortunate that our ability to achieve success isn’t sufficient as a story on its own and time and time again, we are tasked with having to disprove this narrative. As a reminder to every woman: empowered women are not powered by men. If there’s one thing you take away from reading this article, I hope it’s that it’s never too late to pursue what makes you happy. Thank you @davidbrandongeeting for capturing the juxtaposition of my day to day life and telling my story with such authenticity.
