When my friend Nick Cordero was in the hospital last year suffering from COVID complications in Los Angeles, his wife Amanda was the only one allowed to visit him and she would play music for him while he was in a coma. I wrote this song for them so she could play it for him, hoping he could hear it and fight harder to beat what would ultimately and tragically end his beautiful life. Nick was that guy who upon meeting him, you loved him. Everyone who met Nick loved him. So kind, so fun, so talented, just a huge heart. Amanda is exactly the same way. Today I released a stripped down version of this song. I hope when you listen, you pull up some pictures of Nick, Amanda and their baby son, Elvis.
