DOWN SOUTH WAVY/CURLY hair packing list! And just like that ... my first Holiday since pre-Covid is over! We went to St Lucia and it was in the thirties (C) with high humidity every day- absolute paradise... so; how did I manage my hair?? Here was my packing list: I went to the dollar store and spent ✨2.50$ on 5 travel size containers for hair products. I wanted to try a few gels, but I really only needed one. In these containers I put- ➰Ouidad Advanced climate control heat& humidity gel regular strength (the extra strength would have been better) ➰LUS brands Irish Sea moss gel ➰Deva Curl Ultra Defining Gel ➰AG recoil ✨I had a travel size inahsi leave in conditioner with heat protection ✨2 different universal diffusers+ a pasta strainer (to try and bring SoMeThInG that would work with the hotel blow dryer😅). This was over kill; next time I will bring JUST the pasta strainer and use the blow dryer on the cool setting; down south I mostly airdry. ✨Brushes/combs: a pick, a denman d4, and a detangling brush ✨ Travel size deep conditioning mask- perfect repair by nature lab. This was a life saver! ✨Refresh products- ➰Ouidad advanced climate control featherlight touchup gel cream (comes as 100ml bottle) ➰Mela and kera smooth ends (comes as small bottle) ➰Curl keeper refresh spray with hold (put into a travel size spray bottle) ✨Ouidad going up volumizing spray ✨Silk scarf to protect my hair at night ✨A different, more ‘cute’ satin scarf (love the ones at old navy rn) to wear as a kerchief in my hair if it’s looking a bit frizzy. ✨Mist bottle, jaw clip, big & small elastics & bobbypins Products I brought but did not use- ➰Mousse! My hair felt dry from the pool already and mousse tends to make my hair feel more dry. ➰hair oil/serum- honestly forgot I had brought it. Products I wish I had brought: ✨Malibu c swimmers wellness- I promised myself I wouldn’t hold back from swimming and I’m so glad ! I had so much fun just immersing myself in the experience, but both me and my husband FELT the impact to our hair after use of the hotel shampoo for a week. Next time I would bring the right shampoo with me!
