Something not talked about enough is fertility. It’s a vulnerable topic but so powerful when we can connect with each other about it. Women are not taught enough about the complex nature of our bodies. We are all different. Most of us don’t have 28 day cycles. Many of us have to spend more time than we imagined understanding our bodies in order to do what we think we were created to do - bring life into the world. It’s been an eye opening experience getting to learn more about my unique body since trying to understand my cycle, which led me to dive deep into understanding hormone balance and my health as a whole. Since opening up about my fertility, I’ve gotten messages from so many women in my life that pregnancy hasn’t come easily to, and I had no idea what they were going through. I have gained so much compassion for every single woman. You are not alone in this role. We are all learning together and guiding each other.
