Okay, story time. On June 27th, 2021, I bumped into @quintab at @linkup.worldwide. As we give each other a big hug and the first thing she says to me is “I’m going to get your mother an Emmy!” Now mind you, Quinta and Mommy had just started filming Season 1 of @abbottelemabc. I vaguely knew what the show was about and I knew Quinta was extremely talented and had a good sense about her, but in the back of my mind I’m thinking to myself “Wtf is this girl talking about 🥴?” Then, out loud I said, “I believe it!” (I didn’t). Then, I took this photo on film of her and her friend and enjoyed the rest of our night. Well, fast-forward to September 12th, 2022 - the day Quinta Brunson and Sheryl Lee Ralph became Emmy Award Winners! When Mommy got nominated I said I would post this photo if she won. And look at that... Quinta, you were right all along. As crazy as it might have sounded at the time, you proved to me the power of manifestation and blessings. I’ve said this to you already and l’ll say it again. Thank you for believing in my mother. What you have created is not magic, it is hard work, perseverance, patience, and a whole lot of love.
